 All scientists working in population genetics and evolutionary ecology are welcome to attend, talks and posters are welcomed from scientists of all stages, from students giving their first presentation to senior academics presenting completed work. The 2011 EGG meeting was attended by participants from twelve countries.  For the meeting we have two world class plenary speakers, Professor Paul Brakefield from Cambridge University, and Professor John Willis from Duke University. 13th MRC Social, Genetic & Developmental Psychiatry SUMMER SCHOOL 18th - 22th June 2012
The Summer School provides an introduction into the technical and conceptual aspects of behavioural genomics and consists of three, parallel 5-day courses involving both lectures and practical sessions in addition to shared lectures from experts in the field. This year’s courses are in:
I) Analysis of Genetic Association Studies (Scientific Directors: Cathryn Lewis and Tom Price)
II) Introduction to R (Scientific Directors: Leonard Schalkwyk, Matt Davies & Oliver Davis)
III) Introduction to Molecular Methods in Functional Genomics (Scientific Directors: Cathy Fernandes and Emma Dempster)

Applications are made via our website from 1st December 2011 and require some background information and reasons for applying to the program. Applications will be accepted until courses are full, with a final application date of June 1st. Further details are available from the web
