The journal Heredity is the official publication of The Genetics Society. We produce a newsletter twice a year. Income received from the journal Genes and Development funds the Summer studentships.

The MIT Press is the only university press in the United States whose list is based in science and technology and it publishes about 200 new books a year and over 30 journals.
